Personal Care

The Personal Care Program at Breckinridge Place provides residents all the conveniences and comfort of the Assisted Living Program with additional support services including medication administration, minimal assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal assistance during the night.

Personal Care provides care for residents who need daily assistance, but do not require the intensive level of care offered in a skilled nursing facility. The program encourages residents to retain their independence while receiving daily assistance.

We offer three delicious restaurant-style meals daily, an activity program with a variety of social, educational and fitness programs, a caring and responsive staff with 24/7 availability, and emergency call systems in every apartment.

Additionally, housekeeping and linen laundry services are provided as well as scheduled local transportation to doctor’s offices, shopping centers and other destinations.

For a small fee, our beauty salon/barbershop, which will help you look and feel your best, is conveniently located in the community

Our residents live comfortably in their spacious rooms designed to be used as private or semi-private.  The rooms have large closets, accessible bathrooms, mini-blinds, individually controlled air conditioning/heating, smoke alarms, and sprinklers.  Also included are telephone outlets, basic cable TV service, an emergency nurse call system, and a view of our lovely grounds.
